One week ago, me and my classmates went to a small animation studio called Yeti Farm. Being in the building was oddly welcoming, it didn't just feel like a place to work but also a place where the animators could enjoy themselves and make their art. Everyone's desk had a number of figurines and little toys, for them it was familiar and like another home, as I went through the building there was a white wall with a bunch of characters, one of them was johnny bravo. It was made by the original artiest and the people called it the wall of fame. There was something alluring about the wall, when I saw it I wanted my character to be a part of it. Needless to say but Yeti Farm made me want to be an animator even more, with the people and work I saw there, it just made me want to work even harder.

When it comes to mediums such as animation, a passion and ideals is one of the most important things to have. It's not enough to simply be good at drawing, you must have an idea to put out there for the world to see. For me, I have both. Ever since I was young I was always thinking up new and exciting worlds, strange and mythical powers, and characters with heart and soul in every fiber of their being. As I grew older I my ideas grew too, and I began to think up philosophy's for the world I made. How some villains are not as evil as the heroes think they are, is there even a divide between good and evil, and is redemption possible for everyone? in this day and age, animation has been better than ever before, and with shows becoming smarter the world of animation is too perfect not to explore.

Not only has my storytelling improved, my artwork has too. as time goes on more I find more ways to improve. A year ago my art was decent as best, but the more I learn about character design and proportions, the more my characters look more amazing.

here is one of the first pieces of art i did

And here is one I made this year, not only has the sense of motion gotten better, but the lighting, effects, and background has become more fully formed. While it isn't perfect, the level of improvement is very noticeable.
When people look at me and my art, almost all of them have high respect for what I'm doing. this medium is a place I truly belong in.
